WINK News FORT MYERS (11/15/2021) Woman creates wildlife mural in downtown Fort Myers. Simone Eisenbeiss is from Switzerland. She is painting an eagle and other animals on the side of Franklin Shops in downtown Fort Myers. Eisenbeiss first sketched the animals with chalk and is now using acrylic paint to bring her mural to life. This mural will be called “Treasured Wildlife.”

The Franklin Shops has more than 80 local vendors and entrepreneurs at its downtown location. “Get out of your comfort zone, get off the couch, get off of Amazon, and come see what these local people are doing because we have handmade items that are so thoughtful and unique.”
Miville Gallery Article Anthology
On July 2, 2014, The Miville Gallery opened in downtown Fort Myers. Occupying the 2,200-square-foot south mezzanine, the gallery’s inaugural show features five artists. One of the five whose work is featured is René Miville himself. The anthology is where you’ll find all of the articles published on Art Southwest Florida about the René Miville Gallery, its exhibitions and the artists it features.
