Figurative painter, printmaker and sculptor Daniel Venditti created a Gustav Klimt inspired couture portrait on one of the fitting room doors at The Franklin Shops and presents his artworks in the special gallery set up in the adjoining room.
“I discovered Klimt in art school,” Daniel explained in an interview with Tom Hall of Art SWFL. “He’s just so unique. I thought of him for this project because the era in which he painted is so fitting for this venue. The Franklin Shops evoke the same kind of atmosphere.”
